Today’s Inspiration

The world is filled with small opportunities to perform a ‘Good Deed’. Yet, we ignore them due to worldly customs and traditions and limit ourselves to do good with respect to various fears.
Although, it might be possible that if you come across some opportunity (To perform a good deed), it is SOLELY made for you to do it !!!
Thus, NEVER ignore an opportunity to do good, even if it’s as small as ‘Picking up stone from a pathway’ or ‘arranging water for the birds’ or ‘Helping a stranger, in distress/ accident’ or ‘standing for the right- and calling the cops’. Mashaa Allah.
These small good deeds come together and result in BIG, Unimaginable rewards, in both, This life and Hereafter.
Allah Bless you all, and give you the strength and Wisdom to perform good deeds.

The story behind this realization…

Today, when I woke up and about to start my regular cleaning of the house; I found a little, bird sitting at my doorstep. She looked in distress.

I lovingly move my hand over her wings. She still looked in distress. So I tried to hold her in my hand but she panked, therefore I left her as she is and went for my work.

When I returned back from my work, after about 10-15 mins; I found the bird lying on my doorstep, upside down. She is Not moving at all. Her eyes were closed, thus, she is No More !!! (Innah lilahe Wa Innaha Ellehe Rajiyon- We have come from Almighty Allah, and There shall we must return).

I was extremely dejected, to see her die. So I thought, what should I do now ??

The first thought that came into my mind was, it’s the work of a sweeper, to dispose her (the bird), so let it be. And I came in, with a heavy heart.

After saying my prayers (Mashaa Allah- God is Great), it came me that, it might be for me to dispose the bird properly. Thus, I picked the innocent bird, in a tissue paper, buried it in the nearby flower bed. Said some payers for her. And return back home.

Helping an innocent being really gave me immense pleasure and eternal peace.

Therefore, I urge you guys to help others where needed, No matter what.
